Job Description

Summary

The Manager, Human Resources Business Partner for the Central market provides strategic HR guidance to retail operations across North America, aligning people and talent strategies with business goals. This management role consults with senior business leaders, leverages people analytics, and delivers HR programs developed by Centers of Expertise. The role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution to support talent planning, employee relations, and HR project alignment between Global and the region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR oversight and implement initiatives that support business objectives and the global HR mission
  • Advise leaders on complex employee relations, benefits, and policy application, engaging specialists and legal counsel as needed
  • Manage organizational risk related to policies and HR practices
  • Lead external recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, and development of diversified talent pipelines
  • Identify strategic positions and maintain talent action plans, succession planning, and bench strength assessments
  • Serve as a conduit between central, regional, and local teams to align projects, staffing, compensation, training, and organization design
  • Project manage HR initiatives to ensure alignment between Global and the region and improve HR operational efficiencies
  • Drive quality HR service and team development across North America

Requirements

  • BA/BS or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of HR experience, including HR generalist experience
  • Knowledge of retail or luxury goods preferred
  • Strong leadership presence with consultative, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Proven HR service delivery experience and business acumen with analytical and creative thinking
  • Experience with MS Office and HRIS; strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
