Responsibilities- Manage and support distributor sales teams to achieve brand priorities.
- Oversee and monitor sales and depletion goals within the assigned market.
- Sell in MH brands/products and select relevant activations/programs for each account.
- Identify opportunities for bespoke programs and deeper brand education.
- Develop key account listings and track velocity/sales.
- Act as a consultant on portfolio opportunities and growth.
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure account needs for programs and activations are met within MH brand guidelines.
- Build a key account plan through long-term partnerships and ongoing programming.
- Inform channel or market lead of opportunities, risks, and competitive intel.
- Participate in market/maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education.
- Effectively manage assigned budgets: T&E and A&P.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required.
- 5+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits.
- Strong sales background and self-starter attitude.
- Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography.
- Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to sales pitches and strategy-setting.
- Well-developed experience analyzing ROI and budget management.
- Highly effective influencing and partnering skills.
- Refined communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical ability and ability to interpret syndicated data insights.
- Flexible mindset and ability to manage change in direction.
