Job Description

Summary

As a Manager of Recruiting at EssilorLuxottica, you will lead the recruitment efforts for Doctors of Optometry in Canada, developing and executing strategies to attract top talent. You will collaborate with Optical Brand leadership to drive business results and ensure a seamless recruitment process.

Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and recruit diverse talent to fill open vacancies.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external client groups.
  • Develop recruitment strategies using various methods including networking and social media.
  • Lead recruitment strategy meetings and act as a Subject Matter Expert on hiring practices.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with Doctors of Optometry.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and create search strategies based on findings.
  • Implement and enforce recruiting policies and procedures.
  • Manage and track assigned postings, prioritizing and closing searches according to KPIs.
  • Partner with other functions to manage internal key talent and increase mobility.
  • Generate recruitment reports and data for each assignment.
  • Lead special recruitment projects and mentor Recruiters or Specialists.
  • Travel up to 65% across North America.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in recruiting or a business role.
  • Knowledge of Practice Modalities, Equipment, and Optometry regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience with change management and flexibility in work style.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to report and understand data.
