Summary
The Marketing Director is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for the Americas to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve revenue targets. This role leads the North America marketing function, collaborates cross-functionally with retail and omnichannel teams, manages budget and agencies, and mentors a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive conversion across channels
- Identify and evaluate distribution channel development programs including wholesale and retail marketing
- Establish and maintain consistent brand image and manage public relations and communications
- Collaborate with omnichannel team on full-funnel media plans and performance marketing
- Partner with creative teams to develop impactful assets for consumer marketing channels
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team and adapt structure to business needs
- Develop and manage the marketing operating budget and oversee media agency activities
- Track key metrics for marketing and PR programs to extract learnings and optimize
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of marketing experience with at least 7 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Experience in growth marketing, customer acquisition, SEO, web analytics, and Google Ads
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic mindset and ability to make difficult decisions in a fast-paced environment
