Material Handler

Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, distributing and resupplying upholstery parts and components within the manufacturing facility. This role supports loading and unloading trucks and assists other areas as needed to ensure smooth production flow. The position requires attention to detail, consistent attendance and the ability to handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive a variety of upholstery manufacturing parts and components.
• Move parts to the appropriate production areas.
• Distribute and resupply parts and components to work areas as required.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform duties outside regular work area as needed to support operations.
• Follow production tickets and instructions for part distribution.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Requirements

• At least 6 months prior experience in a similar role with knowledge of upholstery product.
• Able to read production tickets.
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull or grip up to 100 lbs.
