Merchandise Operations Associate

Summary

Supports daily merchandise operations including processing inbound merchandise, placement and presentation on the selling floor, maintenance, and order fulfillment under supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. Works in a fast paced retail environment requiring physical tasks, use of technology, and adherence to visual and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and prepare items for sales floor placement
• Maintain standards in placement and presentation per visual guidelines
• Participate in floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Locate and retrieve requested merchandise to complete customer orders
• Provide prompt and professional customer service to address customer needs
• Use RF devices and store technology to support operations
• Assist with ad hoc store initiatives and cover other merchandising tasks as needed
• Operate company vehicle as needed in accordance with licensing standards

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and visual presentation
• Strong computer skills and ability to use RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, and productivity software
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule per business needs
• Dependable attendance and adherence to store policies
• Valid driver license if required to operate company vehicle
