Summary
The Operations Associate directs movement of pre-sale merchandise entering and exiting the store and ensures shipping receiving policies and procedures are implemented. This role maintains organized inventory storage supports merchandising and visual needs and assists with facility and fixture maintenance while supporting sales staff as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory in an efficient clean secure and organized fashion
- Support sales staff by retrieving merchandise not on the sales floor
- Manage and process inter-store transfers stock rotations and incoming outgoing shipments
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and paperwork is accurately completed
- Participate in preparation and completion of inventories and cycle counts
- Support visual merchandising moving and storage of fixtures furniture props and merchandise
- Manage client delivery process document deliveries and troubleshoot missing deliveries
- Assist with facility and fixture maintenance coordinating cleaning and repairs
- Support other departments and the selling floor as requested
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a retail setting focused on stock or inventory preferably in luxury
- Business school university or equivalent experience
- Computer literate with ability to learn various software packages
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation and social perceptiveness
- Action oriented and result driven with problem solving skills
- Ability to accurately complete inventory related paperwork such as damages and RTVs
