Summary
The Operations Coordinator leads back of house operations in a retail store, supporting store leadership and driving sales and service goals. This role acts as a key holder and manager on duty when managers are unavailable, coordinating order fulfillment, inventory management, client service activities and store opening and closing as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and replenishment
- Manage inventory accuracy and follow internal control procedures
- Coordinate client service activities and capture customer data to cultivate relationships
- Act as key holder and manager on duty in absence of management, performing opening and closing procedures
- Clean and maintain merchandise including jewelry and coordinate repairs
- Partner with sales professionals and management to respond to client and team requests
- Support operational efficiency and provide feedback on process improvements
- Coach and coordinate team members when acting as manager on duty
Requirements
- 2-3 years prior retail experience in retail operations with knowledge of merchandising client service administration and shipping
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Organized and detail oriented
- Flexibility to perform varied tasks based on business needs
- Authorization to work in the United States
