Summary
The Operations Coordinator leads back of house operations in a retail store, supporting store leadership and driving sales goals. This role acts as a key holder and manager on duty when managers are unavailable and focuses on order fulfillment, inventory management, client service coordination and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and replenishment.
- Manage inventory accuracy and follow internal control procedures.
- Act as key holder and manager on duty, including opening and closing the store.
- Support sales by deepening client relationships and capturing customer data.
- Deliver elevated in store client experiences and address client concerns.
- Clean and maintain jewelry and process jewelry repairs.
- Partner with sales professionals and management to respond to client requests.
- Assist in coaching team members and coordinating work when acting as manager on duty.
- Provide feedback to improve operational processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- 2-3 years prior retail experience in retail operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of merchandising, client service, administration and shipping.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Organized and detail oriented with flexibility for varied tasks.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- College degree preferred and Gemology coursework or GIA experience preferred.
