Summary
The Operations Coordinator leads back of house operations in a luxury retail store, supporting inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and client service while acting as a key holder and manager on duty when needed. This role partners with store leadership to drive sales goals and operational excellence and supports team productivity through mentoring and process feedback.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily back of house tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and replenishment
- Manage inventory accuracy and comply with internal control procedures
- Coordinate merchandise transfers and process jewelry repairs and cleaning
- Act as key holder and manager on duty to open or close the store when required
- Partner with sales professionals and management to respond to client and operational requests
- Support store sales by collecting customer data and driving key product pillars
- Implement standard processes to optimize hospitality and store amenities
- Provide feedback on process improvements and assist in coordinating team work
Requirements
- 2 years of prior retail experience in retail operations with knowledge of merchandising and shipping
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Organized and flexible to perform varied day to day tasks
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Desired but not required: college degree or Gemological Institute of America coursework
