Job Description

Summary

The Operations Coordinator supports boutique operational excellence by partnering with the Operations Supervisor and store leadership to maintain standards, reduce shortages, and manage risk. This part-time role focuses on auditing, training, and implementing process improvements to protect store assets and ensure compliance with company procedures. The role requires autonomy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence change across store teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day store operations and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits, report operations KPIs, and analyze results to develop corrective strategies.
  • Support shortage reduction and risk management programs to minimize financial losses.
  • Provide hands-on operations and systems training to store personnel and assist with process implementation.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments to support operational needs and drive improvements.
  • Forecast operational needs and expenditures and communicate priorities to leadership.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Proven track record in shortage reduction, audit controls, or improving store profitability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and coach teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and influence team performance.
