Summary
The Operations Manager contributes to the boutique's commercial success by maintaining compliance and operational excellence. This role oversees daily boutique processes, inventory, financial transactions, logistics, and development of the Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and execution of boutique policies, procedures, opening and closing processes, and audit action plans.
- Oversee product movement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, financial transactions, ecommerce flows, and care service processes.
- Partner with boutique management to monitor operating costs, allocate resources, maintain boutique standards, and optimize supply and storage organization.
- Lead and develop the Operations team through training, coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Collaborate with boutique, regional, and corporate teams to improve operations, adopt new tools, and achieve KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Five to eight years of operations management experience in a luxury retail environment, including leading leaders and managing direct reports.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel overnight as needed.
