Summary
The Operations Manager ensures operational excellence and compliance within the boutique by overseeing daily processes, inventory control, financial transaction accuracy, logistics, and the development of the operations team to support commercial success and exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce Maison policies and efficient opening and closing procedures
- Oversee product movement including shipments transfers consignments and in-boutique handling to prevent stock loss
- Manage daily transactions ensure paperwork accuracy and support ecommerce and transactional flows
- Lead inventory control processes including regular counts reconciliations and annual inventory preparation
- Partner with boutique management to monitor operating costs and supply replenishment needs
- Maintain boutique standards including visual displays maintenance tools equipment and vendor coordination
- Lead audits implement action plans and drive adoption of new operational tools and rollouts
- Train develop and manage the operations team provide coaching and performance feedback
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to solve issues and drive KPI performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field
- 5 years of operations management experience in luxury retail environment
- Experience leading leaders and managing direct reports
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office particularly Excel; SAP knowledge preferred
- Excellent analytical organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings weekends and travel for trainings and events
- High attention to detail ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate inspire and develop team members
