Job Description

Summary

As an Operations Manager at Hermès Dallas, you will oversee all operational functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance in a luxury retail environment. You will work closely with the Managing Director and sales team to support the client experience and operational growth.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory control, housekeeping, maintenance, and selling service associates.
  • Manage shipping and receiving department, ensuring timely movement of merchandise.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and operational policies.
  • Coordinate with corporate departments and outside vendors for maintenance and IT needs.
  • Manage operational team scheduling, training, and coaching.
  • Prepare and conduct evacuation drills and emergency response training.
  • Oversee all operations and after-sales supply orders.
  • Recruit and maintain a talent bank for operational positions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Proficient in shipping and receiving processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of POS and phone systems.
  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative management style.
