Operations Manager - Inbound

Summary

The Operations Manager leads inbound operations at the East Coast fulfillment center, overseeing day-to-day safety, quality, and performance. This role manages and develops a team of about 20 employees, driving results through coaching, performance management, and KPI monitoring. The manager also owns process improvement efforts and meets financial standards by monitoring expenditures and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow the performance of a team of approximately 20 warehouse associates
• Drive safety, quality, and operational performance across inbound processes
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed
• Monitor and drive KPI metrics, 4DX and facility performance scorecards
• Own process improvement initiatives using problem-solving and project management methodologies
• Provide annual budget information, monitor expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role
• Proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvement actions that improve cost, service, and quality
• Demonstrated capability in developing others and growing leadership competencies
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs and hands-on experience with warehouse management software
• Ability to analyze data and determine actions based on improvement opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
