Operations Manager - Inventory Control and Quality Assurance

The Operations Manager for Inventory Control and Quality Assurance at the Cedar Rapids Fulfillment Center is a versatile leader responsible for ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy and operational standards. This role involves collaborating with internal business partners to develop and implement best practices in support of Supply Chain strategy and priorities.

• Manage the inventory verification program to ensure accuracy of inventory transactions and balances through effective planning and execution of cycle counts.
• Prepare and review documentation of inventory processes, cycle count and inventory adjustment results with site Operations Leadership and auditors.
• Manage the quality process audit program to ensure customer service and process quality standards are met throughout the operation.
• Partner with site Operations peers and leaders to address root causes regarding people, processes, and systems.
• Set team direction and priorities, anticipating change and adapting as necessary.
• Manage and coach team members for growth and development.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience in inventory control, quality process auditing, or related discipline.
• 5+ years distribution and/or fulfillment center work experience with 3+ years supervisory/management experience.
• In-depth understanding of the operational and financial impacts of inventory control and associated metrics.
• Experience with WMS/WES systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to occasionally work off shift for connecting with all team members.
