Operations Professional (In Store)

Summary

The Operations Professional is responsible for back-of-house store operations that support sales and service goals. This role manages order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving while partnering with sales colleagues to optimize client experiences. The position requires strong organizational and analytical skills and the flexibility to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational tasks including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, replenishment and merchandise transfers.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory using reports and systems; report discrepancies to management or corporate partners.
• Clean and prepare jewelry and merchandise; process and coordinate repairs and returns.
• Handle internal and external phone and e-mail correspondence and follow up on client requests for product, service, repairs and shipping.
• Capture client data during interactions and partner with client advisors to support sales opportunities and client retention.
• Support store productivity and process improvements by providing feedback through appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Organized, flexible and able to perform varied tasks based on business needs.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: college degree and/or Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework or graduate gemologist training.
