Summary
The Operations Supervisor will support day-to-day store operations and drive process improvements for a new store opening. This role implements operational standards, protects product assets, and provides transparent reporting to the Store Manager. The Supervisor leads projects, training, and stock management initiatives to optimize store performance.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and implement brand operational guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Identify and drive operational efficiencies to protect product assets and meet stock loss targets.
- Conduct trainings for new hires and ongoing training on store operating systems such as Cegid.
- Lead operational projects and support the store opening and HQ initiatives end to end.
- Manage stockroom optimization, replenishment processes, cycle counts, and inventory reporting with Inventory Control.
- Develop forecasting tools to aid sales, stock and headcount/payroll planning.
- Own vendor and supplier relationships, facilities, health and safety compliance, and the process for recording client gifts.
- Support CRM data quality, monitor P&L aspects, and collaborate with merchandising to maximize replenishment potential.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years retail experience and at least 3 years managing people.
- Knowledge of US retail laws, security and health and safety legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with retail systems (e.g., Cegid) preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong commercial acumen and a customer service focus.
- Ability to work a retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; able to prioritize and multitask under pressure.
- Foreign languages a plus.
