Summary
The Operations Supervisor oversees back-of-house operations for the Miami Design District store, reporting to the General Manager. This role ensures accurate stock representation, efficient shipping and receiving, and supports inventory control while assisting the sales team and performing key holder duties. The supervisor maintains operational standards to elevate the client experience and store efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor sales floor stock to ensure merchandise matches current visual merchandising sets.
- Communicate product stock level and quality issues to management to prevent shrink.
- Maintain a clean, organized stock room and reorganize BOH to maximize efficiency.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks and process customer shipments per company standards.
- Support cycle counts, physical inventory preparation, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with key holder duties including opening/closing the store, POS closeout, and EOD reporting.
- Process damages and manage repairs, tracking progress and communicating updates.
- Prepare and send corporate finance packs and keep accurate records of stock movement.
- Monitor store supply levels and process consolidations and transfers within deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years retail back-of-house experience; luxury experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with associates and corporate partners.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be customer facing as needed and maintain professionalism in teamwork and communication.
