Summary
Provide operational support across store functions including shipping and receiving, stock room, cash office, repairs, and administrative tasks. Supervise the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing merchandise according to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee processing of incoming merchandise and verify shipments are secure and complete
- Manage outgoing merchandise preparation and ensure proper documentation
- Verify documentation for customer mail-outs including sales receipts and packing materials
- Prepare freight to stores or distribution centers with accurate paperwork
- Control and replenish operational supplies as requested by General Manager
- Perform maintenance duties as assigned by General Manager
- Read and execute transfer, shipping, alteration, inventory, and shipping carrier documents
- Monitor shrinkage control and follow company reporting procedures
Requirements
- Relevant retail operations experience preferred
- Detail oriented and organized with ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb a ladder as trained under safety guidelines
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, cashwrap, and office areas
