Summary
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the non-selling functions of the boutique, overseeing shipping and receiving, inventory control, loss prevention, POS functions, facilities maintenance, and supporting boutique management to ensure efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verify purchase orders and ticketing, and audit validation reports.
- Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas and ensure merchandise is ticketed and sensored.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts and monitor accuracy of transfers, damages, and returns to vendor.
- Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards related to security and inventory management.
- Train, coach, and manage associates on POS procedures, returns, alterations, and security protocols.
- Ensure facilities comply with safety codes and that adequate security measures are in place.
- Produce and maintain operational reports and records to ensure policy adherence.
- Assist with payroll management, scheduling, and adherence to payroll budgets.
- Lock and secure the store and enforce opening and closing procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years retail stock associate experience with an operations background.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow through skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move and handle boxes and fixtures, including lifting.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Availability to travel as needed.
