Lead a high-energy stock and operations team at the outlet to ensure smooth merchandise flow, inventory integrity, and adherence to safety and service standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Train and lead the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies
- Oversee receipt, processing, and movement of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper tagging and monitoring key operational metrics
- Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers with accuracy and service
- Authorize and manage destruction of products marked out of stock per policy
- Ensure operational interactions with customers and delivery partners meet company standards
- Drive continuous improvement in processing timelines and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail preferably in home furnishings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems iOS devices Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes
- Adaptable resilient and solutions-focused approach to change
- Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across operational hours
- Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques
