Summary
Lead and develop a high-energy stock team to ensure seamless outlet operations, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer experiences in an outlet home furnishings environment.
Responsibilities
- Train and coach stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
- Oversee receipt, processing, and movement of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and processing timelines to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged and maintained for sale.
- Manage product release to third-party delivery partners and customers with accuracy and service standards.
- Authorize and manage destruction of items marked out of stock per policy.
- Ensure operational interactions meet company service expectations.
- Maintain readiness of merchandise for customer availability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably home furnishings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
- Adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule across operational hours.
- Ability to lift and move items in excess of 100 lbs using proper equipment and techniques.
