Job Description

Summary

Lead and develop a high-energy stock team to drive operational excellence at the outlet, ensuring inventory accuracy, safety, and an elevated customer experience. Partner with cross-functional teams to manage merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and third-party delivery. Champion continuous improvement through monitoring operational metrics and enforcing company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Train and lead the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
  • Oversee receipt processing and transition of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and inventory accuracy is maintained.
  • Monitor key operational metrics such as processing timelines and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers.
  • Authorize and manage destruction of products marked out of stock per policy.
  • Maintain service standards during interactions with customers and delivery partners.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous operational improvement.
  • Support flexible scheduling across operational hours.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
  • Adaptable and resilient with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to lift and move items over 100 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques.
  • Capacity for prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
