Summary
Lead and develop a high-energy stock team to drive operational excellence at the outlet, ensuring inventory accuracy, safety, and an elevated customer experience. Partner with cross-functional teams to manage merchandise flow from receipt to sales floor and third-party delivery. Champion continuous improvement through monitoring operational metrics and enforcing company policies.
Responsibilities
- Train and lead the stock team on safety protocols and inventory policies.
- Oversee receipt processing and transition of merchandise from truck to storage to sales floor.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and inventory accuracy is maintained.
- Monitor key operational metrics such as processing timelines and inventory accuracy.
- Manage release of product to third-party delivery partners and customers.
- Authorize and manage destruction of products marked out of stock per policy.
- Maintain service standards during interactions with customers and delivery partners.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous operational improvement.
- Support flexible scheduling across operational hours.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in home furnishings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Adaptable and resilient with a solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to lift and move items over 100 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques.
- Capacity for prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
