Summary

The Receiving Associate supports merchandise and supply receipt processing to help drive sales and maintain efficient stockroom operations. The role prepares merchandise for the sales floor and maintains an organized, safe receiving area.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, unpack, prepare, and dispatch merchandise and supplies according to company standards.
• Tag and ticket merchandise, process price changes and damages, and record trailer deliveries.
• Maximize stockroom space and maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Follow operational procedures for access control, merchandise protection, risk management, and receiving.
• Support selling team members in providing a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Comfort using computers and other technology.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, use ladders, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
