PR and Communications Manager

As a PR and Communications Manager at Balenciaga in New York, you will be responsible for all communications-related activities across the Americas. Your role will involve creating and maintaining a favorable public image for Balenciaga, ensuring synergy across all brand communications and marketing activations.

• Develop and implement seasonal strategies to promote a positive brand image in the Americas.
• Manage all public relations activities and ensure brand presence in key digital and print titles.
• Pitch and manage press features and oversee event programming needs.
• Manage internal communications and support global brand partnerships.
• Oversee retail marketing efforts and support paid media strategy.
• Manage department assistants, specialists, coordinators, and interns.
• Support HQ PR, marketing, image, VIP, and digital teams with international press and marketing activations.

• 5+ years of experience in communication strategy design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of the luxury environment and client orientation.
• Ability to conceive and drive messages and projects forward.
• Strong strategy development and implementation skills.
• Existing relationships with fashion and cultural industry leaders.
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
