Part Time Cashier

Summary

Provide exceptional customer service at the point of sale by greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining an organized cashwrap area. Support sales goals through cross-selling and product knowledge while ensuring a seamless and secure checkout experience. This role may be offered as full-time or part-time depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming checkout experience.
• Process sales transactions (cash, credit, debit, checks) and manage promotional offers and coupon redemption.
• Validate and inspect returned merchandise and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Execute Ship to Home orders and maintain customer profiles in the POS system.
• Support visual merchandising standards and maintain cleanliness of the cashwrap and surrounding areas.
• Answer phones, handle inquiries, and engage in cross-selling and upselling to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Retail experience or similar high-volume specialty environment preferred.
• Ability to operate a register, stand, walk for multiple hours, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and follow company standards and procedures.
