Summary
Responsible for shaping global jewelry assortment strategy by maximizing sales and productivity through data driven assortment planning, collaboration with regional partners, and adoption of analytic tools. This hybrid role in New York requires strong merchandising intuition, analytical ability, and creativity to align product lifecycle plans with brand and regional needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop productive worldwide assortment plans across jewelry collections and product lifecycles.
- Lead data driven assortment reviews and provide item and store level recommendations.
- Collaborate with regional teams and cross functional partners to implement assortment strategies.
- Optimize assortments using store clusters, predictive analytics, and space strategies.
- Support assortment plans for new store openings and region specific objectives.
- Participate in new product launches with Merchandising Supply Chain and Visual Merchandising teams.
- Identify process enhancements to improve efficiency and agility in assortment planning.
- Lead projects with a focus on innovation and measurable results.
Requirements
- Undergraduate college degree.
- 3 years minimum merchandising buying or planning experience; 3-5 years preferred.
- Expertise with MS Office especially Excel and Power Point; Power BI knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and drive recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
- Proven project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self motivated with strong drive for achievement and operational excellence.
