As a Polisher at David Yurman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exquisite finish of our jewelry pieces, working closely with the DY Shop Polishing team to meet design specifications and timelines. Your expertise will contribute to the overall aesthetic and quality of our renowned collections.

• Independently work on high-end intricate pieces, including sold orders and bridal items.
• Apply requested finishes to design prototypes within specified time frames.
• Collaborate with the DY Shop Polishing team and Manager to handle a high volume of requests daily.
• Propose and implement new finishing techniques to enhance design intent.
• Provide input on finishing techniques for production and perform quality control on projects.
• Polish, refinish, and clean gold, silver, and platinum repairs.
• Maintain organized chemical cabinets in preparation for OSHA inspections.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols.

• 7-10 years of experience as a Polisher in a jewelry workshop.
• Comprehensive understanding of polishing techniques and experience in rhodium plating.
• Proficiency in applying a variety of satin finishes.
• Experience working with gold, silver, platinum, and precious gemstones.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to inspect jewelry and identify issues.
• Adaptability to changes in workflow and reprioritization.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
