Principal Engineer HR and Legal Technology

As a Principal Engineer HR and Legal Technology, you will act as a technology leader, responsible for architecture, best practices, and operational excellence across multiple teams. You will mentor other engineers and play a key role in the modernization and evolution of our HR Tech architecture, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

• Support the VP of Employee Experience and Director of HR + Legal Tech in developing a tech strategy for long-term success.
• Collaborate with HR business leaders to understand use cases and present trade-offs associated with recommended approaches.
• Integrate SaaS & Packaged software into enterprise systems, overcoming risks using solution design.
• Partner with Program, Product, and Business teams to establish short-term goals and long-term vision.
• Incorporate industry best practices across engineering teams.
• Recognize and fix security defects and issues in applications or services.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering teams.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, such as Java and C#.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-tier systems from discovery to deployment.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies.
• Experience in HR and/or Legal technology domains is a plus.
