Summary
Senior individual contributor and technology leader responsible for architecture, best practices, and operational excellence across HR technology efforts. Leads design and modernization of HR systems, mentors engineers, partners with business and product teams, and ensures secure scalable solutions that meet compliance and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop long term technical strategy for HR and legal technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR business leaders to define use cases and recommend trade offs.
- Design and oversee integration of SaaS and packaged software into enterprise systems.
- Architect REST based and event driven microservices and platform solutions.
- Lead code reviews and promote engineering best practices across teams.
- Diagnose and remediate performance and security issues in applications and services.
- Partner with program and product teams to establish OKRs and measures of success.
- Mentor and develop engineers at various levels to build robust scalable software.
- Ensure operational excellence including telemetry and cost trade off analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years professional experience in software engineering building enterprise systems.
- Extensive experience with software architecture system design scaling and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in object oriented languages such as Java.
- Experience designing and developing REST based and event based microservices.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies and operational excellence.
- Prior experience in HR People Technology or HCM, Workday experience a plus.
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers across levels.
