Summary
Lead and motivate a global team of procurement professionals to develop and execute indirect procurement strategies, optimize procure to pay processes and manage the travel program to deliver cost savings, compliance and supplier performance aligned with company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a global procurement team driving high performance and continuous improvement
- Develop and execute global non merchandise procurement strategies aligned with business and sustainability goals
- Manage and optimize the procure to pay process across multiple countries ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal cost quality and reliability
- Cultivate supplier relationships assess performance and enforce sustainability and social responsibility standards
- Oversee procurement systems and processes including digital transformation and new technologies
- Lead cross functional teams on major sourcing projects and RFx events
- Monitor market trends and analyze sourcing alternatives for financial impact and savings opportunities
- Develop and manage a best in class travel program ensuring traveler safety value and experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business supply chain or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 12 years procurement experience with at least 8 years in regional or global procurement leadership
- Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills
- Experience with digital procurement tools RFx events and systems such as Workday Scout SAP Ariba
- Advanced analytical presentation and Microsoft Office skills
- Proven ability to manage large projects improve processes and drive innovation
- Deep commitment to ethical standards sustainability and compliance
- Ability to operate in a fast paced global environment and travel domestically and abroad as needed
- Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or NAPM are an asset
