Production Associate

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. You will work in a dynamic production environment, focusing on various tasks such as coating, finishing, and surfacing lenses, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

• Operate and maintain machinery for lens coating, finishing, and surfacing.
• Inspect lenses to ensure optical and cosmetic accuracy.
• Cross-train in different production areas to enhance versatility.
• Meet measurable standards in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work with and around chemicals, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift, with potential overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related work experience in manufacturing or lab settings preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in wet, dirty, or strong-smelling environments.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
