Job Description

Summary

As a Production Associate in our Optical Lab, you will play a crucial role in creating eyeglasses that improve lives by enhancing sight. You will work in a dynamic production environment, operating machines and ensuring the quality of prescription eyewear.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to prepare lenses, including shaping, cleaning, and inserting them into frames.
  • Inspect final products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
  • Work in various areas such as coating, finishing, and surfacing, with opportunities for cross-training.
  • Perform tasks such as clipping, machine operation, beveling, mounting, edging, tinting, and inspecting lenses.
  • Ensure proper fit and alignment of lenses in frames.
Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus, but training is provided.
  • Ability to meet measurable standards in a production environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to walk/stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive movements.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 10 pounds.
