- Maintain and strengthen working relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Coordinate component and material purchasing based on vendor capabilities to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to review vendor quality, accuracy, and timeliness, recommending adjustments where needed.
- Maintain purchasing documentation and project management systems, including shipping tickets, invoices, and tracking records.
- Own the coordination of pickups and deliveries with internal and external teams.
- Update and oversee project management tools to ensure component statuses and information remain accurate and current.
- Partner with the Development Team on adjustments to technical drawings informed by vendor or production feedback.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize purchasing operations, systems, and workflows to support scaling production needs.
- Partner closely with Office, Production, and Accounting teams to support purchasing excellence.
- Contribute to additional projects and initiatives in support of overall operational success as needed.
Requirements- 2+ years of experience in purchasing within the furniture industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting production technical drawings.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient with Mac, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Energized by growth and continuous improvement.
