Summary
Lead the transformation of the QA organization to an automation-first quality engineering culture, designing and scaling automation frameworks for web and mobile platforms and collaborating with Product, Program, and Engineering teams to embed quality across the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Drive QA team transformation from manual testing to automation-first practices.
- Design, implement, and scale automation frameworks for SFCC, OMS, and headless commerce.
- Embed quality engineering within Agile teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Lead automation of tests for mobile apps, SEO, payment, inventory, and pricing.
- Use data and user analytics to prioritize automation efforts and improve test effectiveness.
- Define quality policies, standards, and conduct regular audits.
- Mentor and develop a globally distributed QA team.
- Monitor team performance using metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive QA or quality engineering experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and best practices for web and mobile.
- Experience with Headless Commerce, SFCC, and OMS implementations.
- Strong experience supporting Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to lead and develop globally distributed teams.
- Advanced data analysis skills and experience using metrics for quality improvement.
