Quality Assurance Technician I

The Quality Assurance Technician I is responsible for ensuring the qualification of new frame product introductions through the creation of Master Lens gauges and ensuring conformance to Luxottica standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and manufacturability of products within our centralized manufacturing structure.

• Conduct necessary processes to test and analyze the performance of new frame product introductions to ensure conformance to Luxottica standards.
• Produce Master Lens Gauges.
• Ensure manufacturability within the centralized manufacturing structure.
• Segregate non-conforming products or materials as defined by product tolerances.
• Conduct sample audits of frames in the lab as needed.
• Provide written documentation of findings to the supervisor regarding quality issues.

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic optical knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with good problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
• ABO certification preferred.
