Receiver, Hospitality

Summary

Responsible for accurately receiving culinary deliveries, maintaining organized and code-compliant storage, and supporting inventory accuracy for the Aspen restaurant. This role supports culinary leadership with inventory, cost tracking, and supply communication to ensure seamless back-of-house operations. The Receiver contributes to service excellence by upholding product quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive all food, beverage, and non-food deliveries and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Identify and report incorrect, missing, or substandard products to leadership.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and code-compliant receiving and storage areas.
• Partner with culinary leadership on monthly inventories and daily cost tracking.
• Communicate supply needs and assist with onsite and offsite hospitality events as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in receiving, culinary operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic food handling, product identification, and food safety standards.
• Experience reading and understanding order guides and invoices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and flexibility for weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
• Must meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol and performing kitchen duties and have legal authorization to work in the country of application.
• Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, and ability to stand and walk for extended periods while following safety and sanitation practices.
