Summary

Responsible for supporting receiving operations at the store in Bergen County, handling incoming shipments, inspecting deliveries, and organizing merchandise to ensure efficient stocking and inventory flow. Works part time to assist the store team with timely processing of products and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Accept and unload incoming shipments from carriers.
• Inspect merchandise for accuracy and damage.
• Sort and organize product for stockroom placement.
• Prepare items for stock or sales floor replenishment.
• Maintain receiving area cleanliness and organization.
• Document receiving discrepancies and report to management.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.

Requirements

• Previous retail or warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise safely.
• Basic attention to detail for checking shipments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work part time hours including possible weekends.
