Summary

The Receiving Support Associate is a part time retail role based at the South Coast Plaza location responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming merchandise to ensure inventory accuracy and timely availability for the sales floor. This role supports store operations by coordinating with store leadership and stockroom teams to maintain organized back-of-house workflows.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments accurately and efficiently
• Inspect merchandise for damage and verify shipment contents against documentation
• Tag, label, and process items for inventory system entry
• Organize stockroom and maintain proper storage procedures
• Move inventory to the sales floor as directed by store leadership
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities
• Follow safety procedures for handling and storing merchandise

Requirements

• Prior retail receiving or stockroom experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise regularly
• Basic inventory and stock control knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Availability for part time shifts including weekends and peak periods
