Registry Consultant - Short Hills

Summary

Provide personalized gift registry service to customers in store and online. Share product and style expertise, especially in home merchandise, while building lasting client relationships and helping customers create value in their registries.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their needs, lifestyle, and registry goals.
• Offer product expertise and guide customers through the merchandise assortment, with an emphasis on home products.
• Build and maintain client relationships and loyalty through a client book.
• Manage interactions across online platforms and use technology to enhance the customer experience.
• Promote loyalty applications and enrollments, and meet or exceed registry and business goals.
• Review goals and best practices regularly with a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of related experience; home store experience or training is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and remain composed in difficult situations.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet use.
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
