Summary
The Retail Applications Analyst will configure, support, and improve retail applications and omnichannel capabilities to strengthen the in-store experience and end-to-end customer journey. This hybrid role blends hands-on application support, light development and configuration, and project delivery across POS, clienteling, payments, order management, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day support for POS clienteling and payment workflows, meeting SLAs and OLAs.
- Triage incidents and drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes with vendors and internal teams.
- Execute release and upgrade cycles including sandboxes, UAT, test scripts, and cutover plans.
- Maintain application configuration, environments, and user access with SOX-compliant controls.
- Monitor integrations and jobs, review logs, and resolve API and message queue failures.
- Deliver enhancements from discovery through deployment, including requirements and test plans.
- Support new store openings and relocations with device provisioning and payments certification.
- Coordinate vendor work and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Contribute to playbooks runbooks, test scripts, and knowledge base documentation in Confluence.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience in retail systems with hands-on POS clienteling and omnichannel experience.
- Experience supporting production applications and leading small to medium projects.
- Working knowledge of SQL with ability to read and write basic to intermediate queries.
- Familiarity with iOS device management and SSO technologies such as Jamf Intune and Okta Azure AD.
- Knowledge of APIs and web services concepts.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage incidents, enhancements, and project tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Teamwork Commerce Tulip Adyen Salesforce or Oracle EBS is a plus.
