Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support - Designer Women's Apparel - Tysons Corner Center

Summary

Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale and support the sales floor for Designer Women's Apparel at the Tysons Corner Center store. Handle transactions, returns and customer inquiries while helping maintain presentation, restock merchandise and assist with order fulfillment and pick-up. The role requires a positive, fashion-forward attitude, strong teamwork and flexibility to support other store areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns and other transactions
• Listen to customer needs and share product knowledge to support purchase decisions
• Keep the department runway ready by straightening, lightly cleaning and restocking the cash wrap area and sales floor
• Build customer relationships by promoting events, gift cards and the rewards program
• Support other areas of the store as needed including order fulfillment and order pick-up

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and strong organization with follow-through
• Problem-solving skills and proficiency with computers and store applications
• Flexible availability based on business needs
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, reaching and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
