Retail Leadership Training Program - Mall of America

The Nordstrom Retail Leadership Training Program (RLTP) is an accelerated leadership training program designed to develop future leaders in retail management. Trainees will gain firsthand experience as fashion sales experts, acquire critical leadership skills, and learn the Nordstrom experience through the eyes of customers. Successful completion of the 9-week program may lead to eligibility for full-time Assistant Department Manager positions across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.

• Spend time gaining cross-functional experience in sales, operations, and services.
• Consistently meet productivity goals by building relationships with customers and employees.
• Learn cross-functional division-specific standards and key performance metrics.
• Rotate to a nearby Nordstrom Rack store to learn leadership structure and inventory management.
• Actively network within the market and engage in all learning sessions during the training program.

• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Desire to be a people leader for a fashion retailer known for legendary customer service.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and assess opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and be results-driven.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and balance evening and weekend schedules.
