Summary
The Retail Merchandiser drives seasonal buying strategies and in-season performance across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, ensuring product assortments align with brand vision and regional business needs. This role partners with merchandising, planning, logistics, and retail teams to build assortments, manage inventory, and deliver reporting and training to support sales goals. The position requires travel to Paris for collection training and close collaboration with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage four seasonal retail buying campaigns for retail and e-commerce across the USA Canada and Mexico
- Partner with Merchandising Director and Planning team to define seasonal open-to-buy by category and location
- Create weekly business reporting in PowerBi covering sales inventory and key KPIs
- Manage order sizing uploads and transmissions in Oracle and allocate goods using Oracle RPAS
- Maintain and analyze inventory levels in store and local warehouse and conduct product rebalancing
- Prepare seasonal buying recaps and monthly merchandising reports for HQ and regional partners
- Deliver seasonal product training and create product tools for the retail network to drive sell through
- Regularly visit local retail stores to interface with store teams on product performance and client feedback
- Provide competitive analysis and trend insights to inform regional product development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in buying or merchandising preferably in luxury fashion
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP and SUMIFS
- PowerPoint proficiency and experience creating business reporting
- Strong analytical ability and familiarity with retail math concepts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and travel as required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at time of application
