Job Description

Summary

Paid internship supporting the Director of Retail Operations in New York, providing exposure to retail operations, reporting, and store procedures while completing academic requirements. The role offers hands on experience with operational tasks across the retail network and collaboration with senior management in a fast paced luxury environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate weekly memos and store policies and procedures to stores
  • Manage store tools stocked at Wayne and within the NYO
  • Create and manage the monthly retail calendar
  • Create and implement procedural tools for stores
  • Coordinate seasonal ordering and distribution of store uniforms and packaging
  • Maintain StoreDB address book and contact lists
  • Monitor and track security and alarm vendor lists for stores
  • Provide recurring reporting on theft and burglary incidents
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a master's or undergraduate program and able to receive academic credit
  • Available to work approximately 32 hours per week and through May 2026
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with senior management
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and PC skills including Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to take initiative and perform tasks independently
  • Discretion and appropriate handling of highly sensitive information
