Summary

The Salesperson helps customers find apparel that suits their style and fit preferences while achieving in-store and digital sales goals. The role builds customer relationships and keeps the department ready for shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide honest style and fit feedback.
• Develop product and fashion knowledge and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, mark down prices, and keep the department customer-ready.
• Work a flexible schedule and assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
• Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to work well with a team, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and moving for 6-8 hours per shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
