Summary

The Retail Salesperson sells women's apparel both in-store and digitally, using phone and social tools to build and maintain a customer following. This role focuses on meeting sales goals, delivering styling advice and excellent customer service, and keeping the department stocked and presentable. The position requires flexibility in schedule and occasional work in other departments as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using tools including text and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow the Nordstrom Rewards program
• Provide honest, confident style and fit recommendations to customers
• Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, perform price markdowns, and maintain department cleanliness
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the department is customer ready and assist other departments as needed

• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Organized with strong follow-through and willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be on your feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours, including bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
