Summary

Responsible for receiving, unpacking and processing incoming merchandise, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure a high quality customer experience. Work includes inventory scanning, shipping preparation, and maintaining organized sales floors and stockrooms. Position requires physical activity and the ability to handle and move merchandise safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and deliver merchandise to selling departments
• Unpack and process newly arrived merchandise following inventory procedures
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders to packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and research shipments
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as special events setup and fixture relocation
• Assist with markdowns and backroom organization
• Handle merchandise movement and ensure quality standards are met

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using various technology and computer applications
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
