Summary
The Returns Associate processes and secures merchandise returns sent to the store, supports specialized operations work groups, and assists daily store operations under the Assistant General Manager Operations. The role requires strong customer service, POS and computer skills, physical ability to handle merchandise, and flexibility to follow store protocols.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the digital return register and process returns and adjustments
- Maintain a neat organized environment and secure product to standard
- Separate organize and secure dot com returns and attach return printouts to items
- Follow store policies and procedures for reconciling reports and resolving discrepancies
- Resolve internal and external customer issues related to returns
- Communicate and collaborate with Merchandise Operations Asset Protection and AGMO
- Support related specialized operations functions such as cash reconciliation gift card events and jewelry operations
- Follow up on reporting escalate potential issues and liaise between clients and store
Requirements
- Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of POS systems and proficiency with Google and MS Office
- Ability to lift cartons racks and carts of merchandise up to 15 pounds
- Ability to multi task work in a fast paced team environment and adapt to changing technology
- Attention to detail and ability to keep workspace organized
- Ability to influence team to follow policies and procedures and assist in decision making
- Flexible availability to work schedule as business needs require
